OpenLegacy Hub (OL Hub) provides a simple, fast, and cost-effective way to expose data from legacy systems as microservice-based APIs and implement your business logic.

Implementing your business logic with OL Hub is a user-friendly, visualized process that uses low-code and no-code methodologies to eliminate the need for costly and time-consuming traditional dev cycles. You can move fast to meet your customers’ preferences and adapt to new
business conditions.

OpenLegacy Hub

With OL Hub you can expose the data from legacy systems and then include this data in a microservice that you create. At the end of this process, you generate a final product, called Service, that can integrate every type of data source (for example, SAP, Mainframe CICS, or AS400) with every type of data consumer (for example, mobile app or web app).

The service contains the logic required to translate API requests coming from the data consumer to API requests that the data source can understand and respond to. After the service is created, it is downloaded from the OL Hub and merged into the data consumer codebase.

Before You begin

Before you begin generating services, you need to get started with OL Hub. The OL Hub platform contains web-based software, OL Hub, and OL CLI that can run on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

The process of initial installation and configuration includes a combination of procedures that you need to perform in both of them, as follows:

Install OL CLI:

- Install OL CLI on Mac.

- Install OL CLI on Windows.

Now you can start developing APIs.
